    Second Nature, the University Climate Change Coalition (UC3), and the Research and Independent Non-Governmental Organizations (RINGO) co-hosted a webinar that covered key issues on the negotiation agenda at COP30, set to take place in Belém, Brazil, from November 10-21, 2025.

    This three-part webinar series has been developed by the University Climate Change Coalition (UC3), Second Nature and the Research and Independent Non-Governmental Organizations (RINGOs) constituency to provide anyone interested in the international climate negotiations with a comprehensive overview of the UNFCCC process, including policy questions and issues to be addressed in the upcoming COP27 negotiations. Anyone interested in following the climate negotiations is invited to participate in the webinars.

    This second webinar will share ways to learn about and engage with the UNFCCC outside of the COPs; enhance understanding of how the Subsidiary Bodies (SBs) and Constituted Bodies (CBs) support the work of the UNFCCC and its Conference of the Parties; and enrich understanding of the UNFCCC objectives and processes.

    RINGO Pre-COP webinar
    RINGO, with Second Nature, hosted a webinar  on Monday 19 November 2018, to help participants navigate the UNFCCC and COP24. View the presentation to learn how to effectively participate in and observe the UNFCCC COP negotiations in Katowice, Poland. Highlighting the organizational and decision-making structure of the meetings, speakers shared tools and resources to facilitate attendee’s navigation of the COP space both in person and online.

    While the portions of the webinar that relate to content and agenda items are specific to COP24, the organization, process and methods of engagement portions are relevant for all COPs.
