  • Tickets will ONLY be needed for : 15:00-17:00, Meeting room 23, APA agenda item 4: Further guidance in relation to the adaptation communication, including, inter alia, as a component of nationally determined contributions, referred to in Article 7, paragraphs 10 and 11, of the Paris Agreement
  • Tickets will NOT be needed for Agenda items 7 and 8 today.  Please return those tickets totes focal points at the morning RINGO meeting.

Young RINGO Evening Out

Thursday night 5 December 2018 – Tonight!

COP buddy walkabout to Christmas market. Meet at 6:30pm at booth 147 to meet a new COP buddy and walk over for some Christmas cheer. Get some hot mulled wine with someone from a different institution!  While we are targeting our young RINGOs – Young and “old” RINGOs welcome.

Questions for dialogues with observer organizations

RINGOs along with other constituencies have the opportunity to participate in the dialogues as shown below.  The Secretariat has asked us to submit questions in advance. They note that the aim is to enhance the substance of the discussion and the advance questions do not preclude raising any other questions during the dialogues.

Wed 5 December – APA Informal tickets

Wednesday 5 December

Tickets will be needed for the following two APA sessions.  Tickets will be distributed at the RINGO Constituency Meeting from 9:00 – 10:00 in Room Warmia. To receive a ticket you must be at the RINGO meeting in person.  We will attempt to distribute tickets equitably amongst delegations.  Those that receive a ticket will be asked to submit notes to be posted on our meeting notes page.  APA informals tickets are for one informal session only and must be returned at the end of the session.  

  • 10:00-11:00, Meeting room 23, APA agenda item 7: Modalities and procedures for the effective operation of the committee to facilitate implementation and promote compliance referred to in Article 15, paragraph 2, of the Paris Agreement
  • 15:00-16:00, Meeting room 23, APA agenda item 8: informal consultations on issues related to Adaptation Fund

Sunday, 2 December – Opening plenaries

On Sunday, 2 December, owing to the capacity limitations of the plenary, and taking into consideration the safety and security of all participants, the United Nations Department of Safety and Security will need to restrict access to the Plenary Mazowsze.

There will be a limited number of tickets available for NGOs.  RINGOs can pick up tickets from focal point Tracy Bach at 9:30 AM infant of Plenary Mazowsze.

Plenary Śląsk will be available as overflow room and no access limitations are planned, i.e. no ticket needed for the overflow room.
